I grew up in a loving, Christian home in Houston, Texas, where stories came to life. Inspired by my father’s love for the outdoors and our unforgettable trek to Alaska guided by Athabascan Indians, my imagination took flight.
I have a deep respect for God’s creation and its examples for an abundant life. One memorable story sparked the idea of writing The Legend of Denali based on a wolverine dad encountered in the wild.
